Web Statistics and Cookies<\/h2>

As an important part of the work of creating a user-friendly website, we look at the user pattern of those who visit the website. To help with this work, we use cookies, which are small text files that the website stores on the user\u2019s computer. None of the cookies we use to operate the website allow us to link information about your use of the website to you as an individual. Most modern browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.) are set to accept cookies automatically, but you can choose to change the settings so that cookies are not accepted. We point out that it will lead to very many websites not working optimally if you do not accept cookies.<\/p>

To analyze the information, we use the analysis tool Google Analytics. These use cookies, which register the users\u2019 IP address, and which provide information about the individual user\u2019s movements online. Examples of what the statistics give us answers to are; how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from, which browsers are used, and information about online shopping. The information from Google Analytics is stored on Google\u2019s servers in the United States. Information received is subject to Google\u2019s Privacy Policy.<\/p>

How to delete cookies from the browser<\/p>

This allows you to delete cookies and change the settings in your browser so that cookies are not stored<\/p>

Google Chrome<\/h3>

To delete cookies:<\/p>

Click on \u201cSettings\u201d.<\/p>

Select \u201cLog\u201d.<\/p>

Click the \u201cDelete browser data\u201d button.<\/p>

In the dialog box, select the types of information you want to remove, e.g. \u201cDelete cookies and other module data for websites\u201d.<\/p>

Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data you want to delete. Select \u201cMorning of the Times\u201d to delete everything.<\/p>

Click the \u201cDelete log\u201d button.<\/p>

To prevent cookies from being stored in the browser:<\/p>

Click on \u201cSettings\u201d.<\/p>

At the bottom of the page, click \u201cShow advanced settings\u201d.<\/p>

Click the \u201cContent Settings\u201d button under \u201cPrivacy\u201d.<\/p>

Select the desired option under \u201cCookies\u201d.<\/p>

Click the \u201cDone\u201d button.<\/p>

Internet Explorer 9.x and 10.x<\/h3>

To delete cookies:<\/p>

Click the tool button (the icon that looks like a gear). If you do not see the menu, press the Alt key on the keyboard to display the menus.<\/p>

Select \u201cSecurity\u201d, then \u201cDelete browser history\u201d in the menu.<\/p>

Uncheck \u201cPreserve data for sites \/ sites in Favorites\u201d and for \u201cCookies (and site data)\u201d.<\/p>

Click \u201cDelete\u201d.<\/p>

To prevent cookies from being stored in the browser:<\/p>
